EDITORIAL >>>

If you held this in your hands this first issue of 'OEFan Zine', it means you arrived well! How was the road? Ready for the brutal liver & eardrum
assault? héhé! Anyway, let's talk about this first issue! This zine has been done to enlighten your trip in Trutnov and particularly in OEF (Obscene
Extreme Festival). You'll find some advice, given with no pretension, some rules, suggestions... to have an excellent festival here! Of course, and
this is the essential, you'll find an interview to introduce ALL the bands! Well in fact, all the bands BUT : Dismember, Sylverster Staline and Internal
Suffering. Why? Because they simply did not answer the interview. It makes a total of 46 interviews!!!

As I've been here quite a lot of time, I find interesting to have a presentation of the bands, as it's quite difficult to know all the bands Curby is finding for his fest!

Something else, the zine is 100% bilingual. There's an english version and a french version. Also a 'they said it' section, which is a recapitulation of
what people said last year just after their performance... and that's pretty all. I wish you'll find this zine useful and I wish you'll have fun reading the interviews which are sometimes weird! (some were pretty hard to translate)! All the drawings & illustrations were done by Jess, handily and with a single pencil...!!!! On those introducing words, I wish you'll have a great time here, and as we say here: "please bring just your great mood and make fantastic weekend like every year"!

TIP AND TRICKS >>>

Listen! - Definitly, you need to bring some ear plugs! I don't think you can have some at OEF and believe me, if you are near the stage, you need some!!!

Eat! - There are a shitload of choice in OEF but it's all veggie food. (yum!). I can suggested you the cheese burgers at the top of the hill in front of the stage, they are tasty! Served with french fries! Otherwise, there are those kind of 'pizza donnut', sold in an old caravan... These are tasty too! (ask for some tabasco, pussy!)

Drink! - Again, there's choice. Beer of course, cheap and tasty. There are a lot of place to buy some, I suggest you to go again at the top of the hill
in the small houses just behind the benchs! It's rare there's a queue like near the metal market! Then, there's those almond schnapps shots / bottles... They are very good too and... they work very very well if you know what I mean ;-) You can return your glasses and have some money back... Don't trash the place.. !

Sleep! - Sleeping at the camping is great because of the ambiance! You go to bed with death metal, you wake up with death metal! The only thing is that there's no shower at the festival place and that the toilets are quickly dirty due to some drunken fags! Always take some paper with you and if you need a shower, choose the hotel alternative. It allows you to change your mind, they are cheap, near the fest place and usually very nice! (it's also cool to drop the stuff you buy there!)

Enjoy a walk! - That's nice to go in town and have a walk! I personally finds Trutnov town calm & attractive. The center is very close to the fest place, enjoy it! (There's also a lot of restaurants for carnivores!) If you need something and you are camping, there's a bunch of supermarkets where you can find a lot of stuff for camping, for rain, etc etc. Just remember to keep it cool with Trutnov inhabitants! It's nice to have the local authorities to allow OEF in their town!
